Honey and Ambrosia Appreciation Workshop

Slow Food invites you to a unique opportunity to hear and be inspired by two special speakers on Sunday afternoon the 7th of August. Agroecologist and winemaker, Lou Chalmer, is visiting SA as a guest speaker for Quorn’s inaugural Quandong Festival in August. Together with Australia’s Beekeeper of the Year, Jake Leske, a 'hive to hand' producer from The Queen's Cut they will provide guests with a sensory tasting experience.

Lou is passionate about making ambrosia with natural and traditional methods, carefully sourcing local honey which reflects its terroir and the season. Jake is equally as passionate about his pure honey which he sources from native bushland in the Fleurieu and the Adelaide Hills. For further details about this unique event view the flyer below.
